  • FUNCTIONS OF NISP COMMITTEE

    The functions of NISP committee is to identify the experts having expertise and experience in the domain of innovation, IPR, and startup to start the work of policy formation and implementation of guidelines at the institute.

  • ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY OF NISP COMMITTEE

    Coordinator of NISP Committee:
    • Role of nominated faculty is to ensure design, adoption and implementation of innovation and startup policy at institute level in accordance with the NISP.
    • Periodically update the NISP login portal as per the requirements.
    • Preparing annual plan related to NISP.
    Faculty members of NISP Committee:
    • He/ She undertake responsibility of carrying out of a periodic review and progress monitoring at department level for further improvement.
    • He/ She will act as point of contact with NISP implementation team for regular handholding and progress monitoring activities.
    Student members of NISP Committee:
    • He/ She will help the NISP/IIC in coordinating idea workshops/ competition/ Hackathon/ bootcamps etc. under the guidance of faculty coordinators.
    • He/ She is responsible for the all the IPR related activities under the guidance of their IPR faculty coordinator.
    External member of NISP Committee:
    • He/ She will attend the NISP committee meeting on regular basis.
    • Technical Expert would play the role of mentor/guide to the institute students.
    • He/ She will help in organizing institute level idea Competition/Hackathon by suggesting suitable problem statements or theme.
    • He/ She will give his inputs in committee meetings about the latest trends in technologies and feasibility of the idea/point discussed.
